When we can accept what comes to us through God’s grace, when we can let go of attachment, aversion, judgment and hatred, when we can no longer burn in the fire of desires, then we can live in God’s beautiful world and walk in joy. When we live in allowing, acceptance and surrender to the will of God, worry departs. When people, things and circumstances come, let them come. When they go, let them go. The world is an image, a play, an appearance created by God.
Because we forget that this world is permeated by God, that everything is His consciousness, power and will, we fear. Because of our forgetting, we see everything as different from us and this fear causes us to live in a separate self that the ego creates. Then we create endless desires to regain the bliss that the ego has covered over. We become attached to outcomes and suffer. We live in self-grasping ignorance and deepen our suffering.
With acceptance and allowing, with compassion, with devotion and surrender, we have the opportunity to be at ease, to remember our divine nature and live in peace, love and joy. With attachment and aversion, with desire and self-grasping, we have the tools to create misery. It is a clear choice. But we are very addicted and conditioned to believe our delusions that desires and attachments to outcomes will bring joy, that the thing outside will create joy inside, that pleasure will bring happiness.
When we see deeply, we realize the option we all have. When we meditate, chant, serve and practice compassion, we expand consciousness and neutralize samskaras, realizing our divinity, realizing our True Self, which is absolute, bliss consciousness.
Blessings,
