When we understand why God created the world, we find the answer to life’s most important question; how do we find our bliss.
God, being in an absolute state of still, blissful, perfect Self-awareness, could have just remained in that state. But He didn’t. He decided to make Himself into this world, into us. Why?
Imagine you are taking a hot bath. If you just sit in the bathtub in stillness, after a while, you no longer feel the heat. In order to feel the warmth, you are required to move your hands and feet to experience the joy of the warmth. God, sitting in His stillness needed to move, to create, to flow in order to feel his bliss.
It’s like air. If you and the air are still, you can’t feel it. Run and you will feel the air move against you and you will feel its cooling touch.
When God created, He moved from a state of absolute, still, Self-awareness, became creative intelligence and moved and expressed. Stillness became bliss. This is what we mean when we refer to God as Absolute Bliss Consciousness – God is stillness, awareness and creative intelligence.
How do we find our bliss? We become Absolute Bliss Consciousness. We find our stillness inside and create. That is skill in action. That is emulating God. Not being still inside creates fear, separation and worry. Not being creative destroys bliss. So, we find our bliss through a combination of inner stillness and outer creativity. One without the other is unbalanced. Together they are bliss.
Love,
