Simply
A poem by James Pesavento
The sun dispelled the darkness.
It had simply shone.
The rain blessed the land.
It had simply released.
The breeze cooled the earth.
It had simply flowed.
The air gave life to all.
It had simply offered.
The flower scented the air.
It had simply opened.
The rivulet became the stream.
It had simply surrendered.
The stream flowed into the ocean.
It had simply merged.
