We perceive the world through the lens of our own outlook. It is this limited vision that makes us see differences, divisions, and disparities in creation. We see separateness only because we look through the glasses of ego and ignorance. In truth, the world is God. Every being is the image of the Divine, the living form of the Supreme Truth.
When anyone enters the ocean, all feel the same coolness of its waters. Likewise, there is no flaw in creation itself – the imperfection lies only in our perception. There is no real duality in the universe; the duality exists solely in our minds.
We need not flee to the forest or renounce our worldly duties to realize the Divine. All that is required is the experience and understanding that He alone acts through all things – that every movement, every word, every duty is His worship. When this awareness dawns, how can God remain distant? He, the all-pervasive One, alone exists in all. If we have this awareness, then our life becomes yoga, meditation and knowledge. If we have this awareness, then all knowledge arises from within, and we become the embodiment of God.
