Most people view their life as a separate existence, an individual and isolated adventure. From that view arises the experience of life as something to fear, something that causes pain and something that is lonely and filled with discontent. That view is the root of your suffering. When you go deeply into the basis of life, into the very Being of life, you will find that this life-view of separation is mistaken and that your experience of life is shaped and colored by this mistaken foundational perception. When the foundation is flawed, that which is built upon it remains shaky.
When you live life fully, when you go to the heart of life, you open to all aspects of this creation and you open the door to find life’s Source, life’s true foundation. The full view of life, the complete understanding of life reveals both the waves and the ocean, both the human and the divine, both the one and the many. Life is not just the bliss described in the scriptures or the misery of the struggles of daily life. Life is not just this one dimension nor is it just the thoughts and feeling that fill your mind. Life encompasses everything. Life is the holiness of the mountain and the sweetness of the baby, the pain of the expansion you may be going through and the bliss of the revelation of your Self. It is God as all of this.
This is why it becomes important to live the fullness and accept the fullness. When you resist the fullness, when you push the pain away, when you live in attachment to outcomes and desires, you segregate life as good and bad. Every aspect of life is tangibly leading you to realization. Realization is a state of completeness and completeness requires the fullness of life be lived. When separation ends, fullness is revealed. Fullness is waking up, taking a shower, eating a meal and going to work – experiencing the waves of life. Fullness is diving deep inside and realizing all that dwells within you; your consciousness – experiencing the ocean of life.
Your mind had been conditioned to create an experience of separateness, of delineation, of segmentation that causes you to live a narrow existence. Open to all aspects of life and give up the state of individual separateness. Then the beauty of the mountain, the pain of a disease, the lack of resources or the divine experience in meditation all have the power to reveal the truth of life – that life is leading you to your fullness of realization that is the Divine Itself.
