Every instance in our outer life has been created for our expansion. All situations and circumstances are our karma and the grace of God functioning through situations to free us and create more realization of God and Self. Grace is God’s will and coordinating energy functioning to bring about our remembrance, our realization, our enlightenment.
We tend to think that the outside world is a place where we can seek happiness and pleasure. But this is a misconception. The outside world is God and its main purpose is realization. Whenever we are confused by events, whenever we can’t understand why something is happening, the answer is always the same; life is God’s power of grace designed to liberate us.
God created the relative world out of Himself and within Himself for the bliss of expansion. That expansion, that play of consciousness, is a process of forgetting His true Self and remembering His true Self as and through us. That remembering is what grace is for.
Aligning with Grace
Our attempts to control, our grasping for outcomes and our aversion to ‘what is’ all serve to add resistance to our receiving grace. Supporting and aligning with grace are accomplished through spiritual practices. They are the fastest way to accelerate the process of liberation and happiness. Accepting ‘what is’ and acting in alignment with our highest purpose, which is liberation, bring resonance with grace.
This approach should never minimize our responsibility to create and act, as God does, for our and other’s benefit and thriving. God creates this world and we should create also. God manifests endlessly to bring about our realization and we should do all we can to bring about our realization. God is acting through and as us. There is only His play and His purpose, which is our play and our purpose.
