The mind searches endlessly for bliss and satisfaction. In doing so, the mind becomes a monkey mind, thinking endlessly, exhausting us. Attempting to satisfy worldly desires can never bring permanent happiness. The joys of the senses can never permanently satisfy us. Engrossed in only worldly, manifest desires and being attached to the fruits of action are the causes of endless suffering and cycles of birth, death and rebirth.
The monkey mind isn’t satisfied on the level of thinking or on the level of the intellect or the senses. Learning about the light and fighting the darkness will not allow us to experience the light. It is in going beyond the relative world and experiencing the Absolute that we will know and experience the light of God, the light of consciousness. We must go beyond the intellect, beyond duality and the pairs of opposite, beyond action, beyond right and wrong, beyond ritual, beyond the tendency to possess. It is in transcending the relative that we experience absolute bliss consciousness.
Making a mood of bliss does not bring contentment. It only adds another layer of obstruction. The individual, limited mind must become God, become cosmic mind, in order to have true power, creativity, intelligence and wisdom. We must become the witness to allows us to remember the Self, our Godhead, and live in satisfaction, connected to the Source of intelligence and power. This is why we do Turia meditation and do our spiritual practices. This is why we go inside and become still. It is in the transcendent stillness that the mind dissolves into its Source and God is revealed as us, as everything.
